Hello! I'm playing on my Jerry Donahue stratocaster, using my Acoustic Control Corporation (ACC) model 164 tube combo. I'm also using a Fulltone OCD V3, overdriv/distortion pedal here and there. There's a Boss DD-3 in the loop and I've got the amp's reverb on. This amp, the Acoustic Control Corporation model 164 was built somewhere around 1979-82, I'm not sure about the exact year. I has three 12AX7's and one ECC81 in the preamp section. The power tubes are four 6L6's, Svetlana Winged-C-logo. It's a two channel amp, but the gain and master volumes are connected two each other, meaning that increasing the gain on channel one will also increase the gain on channel two. In this clip I have Bass, Mid, Treble and Presence all the way up, on channel one the gain is half way and on channel two all the way up. The Fulltone OCD is in HP mode and all controls are at 12 o'clock. I tried to mix the sound so that it sounds like you would hear the amp standing in front of it, don't know if I succeeded with that, but I won't change the mix anyway, haha! Did I miss anything...hmmm, don't know. I'll fill in any missing information later on! Sorry about the crappy playing, bad intonation... I had a hard time hearing the backing track, cause the amp was really loud. I recorded this in Cubase at the same time as I shot the video, so that's the reason why the microphone (Shure Beta 58A) is there. It was pretty loud, and my stereo speakers couldn't keep up with the combos volume. Could have ...
